DO

To the right is a job aid and connect activity.  The video was created by me to show how a simple "dance" can work as a job aid to assist employees in remembering the 6 types of abuse.  (Think of the moves like the Marcarena)

This is a connect activity because it engages learners apply what they have learned in the module.  Learners will also be able to use this mnemonic to help them remember the 6 types of abuse when quizzed by a state investigator.  Learners will be assessed in this activity by being able to engage in the dance and name the 6 types of abuse when asked.

Objectives Matrix

Please answer each question to the right with only one correct choice.

This quiz is both an assessment activity and a do activity because it has the learner do something with what they have learned in the module.  This quiz engages the learners in practice with the information from the module by answering questions.

Leaners will be assessed in this activity as being able to successfully answer 4 of the 5 questions correctly.

Above, a powerpoint of the information that will be presented in the e-learning module.  The module will include graphics and videos on completion.  This is an absorb activity because is promotes the learning of information in the students.  The students should be physically passive,  but mentally active during reading.

Short one-question quizzes will be scattered within the learning scenario to help learners measure their progress and understanding of the content.  These frequent short quizzes will also help the adult learner maintain attention and relevance while gaining confidence using the Keller's ARCS model of motivational design.
