Give Generously
The Lord tells us to give generously and with no expectation in return. We are not to brag, or make a public show, but just help our neighbor.
In Deuteronomy 15:10-11 (MSG) we are told to "Give freely and spontaneously. Don't have a stingy heart. The way you handle matters like this triggers God, your God's, blessing in everything you do, all your work and ventures. There are always going to be poor and needy people among you. So I command you: Always be generous, open purse and hands, give to your neighbors in trouble, your poor and hurting neighbors.
In Luke 10:25-27 (NKJV), Mathew 22:35-40 (NKJV), and Mark 12:28-31(NKJV), Jesus is asked by a man what is needed for eternal life and which is the greatest commandment in the law. Jesus responded that the two most important commandmants should be followed " "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind" and "your neighbor as yourself."
I believe the video below, a dramatization made in Tiawan shows that message well.
