The Door is Unlocked
God is not unreachable. Too many believe that they have walked too far away, done too much, or become so lost that the door to God is locked. There is no one that is not good enough to come to God. 2Peter 3 tells us that God is specifically giving time for sinners to repent.
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (NIV).
All conversations with God are blessed with grace, His grace for you to be forgiven. The door is not locked. Colossians 4 tells us to spread the word and let others know that door is unlocked, the door that leaves to forgiveness and love.
5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone (NIV).
We must also, as believers, use our conversations to convey grace. Those who are not believers are lost, they may be in a fog, and they may believe that the KEYS to the door to God are not for them. We must be wise in our Christian walk and ensure that we are leading them to that door. God has put many, many doorways to Him in this world, one of those is YOU!
