Fight Negativity

Offense, negative thoughts, doubt, worry ... all tools of the enemy. Do not allow your thoughts to be consumed negatively. Meditate and put into practice that which is received and heard from the Lord. Philippians 4: 8-9 tells us that to think about such things that are excellent and praiseworthy, when they are put into practice then the God of peace will be with you. When we feel attacked we must remember to rely on God. 1 Samuel 23:14 tells the tale of David who was relentlessly pursued by Saul. Day after day Saul searched for David in the wilderness with an intent to kill in his heart; "but God did not give David into his hands." Nor will God forsake you.

I know those thoughts still creep up, the enemy whispers in our ears. There are times we feel that everyone has left us, that we are fighting on our own. Remember, God always fights for you. 2 Timothy 4:16-18 tells us that the Lord will stand at your side, give you strength, rescue you from every evil attack and bring you to safety. We must keep this promise in our hearts and not let the enemy creep into our minds. God is there, he is with you in the attack. Trust in him, give him your worry, your doubt, and your despair. Nothing is too great or too small for him to carry for you.

2 Corinthians 4:8-10 (NIV)

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

He is with us, AMEN!
