The Good News

God wants us to spread the Good News. As Christians we want to bring others to the same love and peace that our faith has given to us. There are times that we fear talking about our beliefs because we worry about being "politically correct" and not "offending" anyone. It is true, the world today is not a supporter of talking about faith, any faith not just Christianity.

We are not to conform to the patterns of this world; we are to be a light to bring others to our Father, to find the best way, and to have strength in our belief. Bring the wisdom of revelation to others and trust in the vision of God so that none may perish.

Isaiah 60:16 (NIV)

The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

Proverbs 29:18 (NIV)

Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom's instruction.

Philippians 4: 8-9 (NIV)

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
