Inspired

May I dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. Do not hide Your face from me Lord. Teach me and lead me in a straight path, O Lord. Do not let my enemies fill any desire against me, nor bear false witness against me, nor spout malicious accusations. I will be strong of heart, waiting and trusting in the Lord. (Inspired by Psalm 27)

Lord my inspiration comes from You. Each morning I am renewed in Your presence. Lord I ask that You honor me by revealing Your love for me. In Your presence Lord I feel safe and I feel loved.

“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.”

The world can be tumultuous at times, trying to crush you in on all sides. So much offense, hate, division, and greed. Hearts hardened to the truth and unwilling to see the true enemy. Let Your believers be warriors, our weapon the truthful word in the Good news. Let ears hear, minds understand, and hearts open. May the sword of truth be wielded by me and other believers with strength.

I will seek your presence first each day Lord as I am reminded that I am in this world, but not of it.
