Wise Choices

We have choices to make everyday, from the simple such as what to wear…to the more complex such as who to trust. The Holy Spirit was given to us by God to

help guide us and give us wisdom in our decisions.

Which way should I go?

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Which choice is best?

“Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.”

Is this the right decision?

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

Psalm 119:105 NIV

‭Is this God or just what my flesh wants?

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Is there peace?

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.” James 3:17 NASB

Peace is how I describe the feeling I get when making a right decision, a Godly supported and wise decision that will

bear fruit. God doesn’t make us nervous or nauseated. Have courage to make good decisions, trust God’s leading, and let Him give you peace amid any storm. Pray about it, seek Godly counsel, trust your “gut“ (the Holy Spirit interceding). And even if you stumble, God will be there to stop you from falling.
